Rox Volleyball "Be Revolutionary" Campaign
The Be Revolutionary campaign centered around the upcoming 2016 Rio Olympic Games as well as the roots Rox Volleyball has an American company. The marketing strategy also coupled with Brooke Sweat, a pro Rox Volleyball athlete, competing in the 2016 Olympics.
The concept was to empower junior and adult athletes to "Be Revolutionary" in whatever they do, and what better way to portray that than recreating Emanuel Leutze's painting, Washington Crossing the Delaware, set during the American Revolutionary War.
The design strategy was to build the artwork as a digital composite. To achieve this, we photographed each model individually and added each element separately. The finished work fused colonial elements with Rox Volleyball's vibrant identity. The team pushed the campaign across all of our digital channels alongside event marketing placements and paid advertising in Volleyball Magazine.
