Dalhausser & Lucena Performance Apparel

In 2018, Rox Volleyball teamed up with their top sponsored athletes to create a custom performance board short and product line. I worked alongside Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena to design board shorts that reflected their story and personalities. Both athletes are legends in the game with Phil Dalhausser being a Olympic Gold Medalist and Nick Lucena a World Tour Gold Medalist.
The performance shorts were designed to have a smooth yet vibrant aesthetic to match their calm and collected play style but also their vibrant personalities on and off the court. Phil and Nick have deep roots in Florida, so we embedded subtle touches of the Florida state outline into parts of the design.
The team and I designed stop motion videos to showcase a 360 degree view of the product. These assets were used across all of our digital channels to promote the launch.

2018 Performance Board Short Launch

Rox Volleyball launched its new performance board short line in 2018. The creative team and I designed all of the board short designs and developed better fit and measurements for this seasonal launch.
I designed the hero image composite to showcase a sneak peak into the prints and colors within the product line. A stop motion video was developed and coupled with the hero imagery to showcase the full breadth of the product offering. These assets were used across all of our digital channels to promote the launch.

2017 Advantage Backpack Promo

In 2017, Rox Volleyball relaunched its consumer-favorite accessory, the Advantage Backpack. My goal for this refresh was to visually showcase some of the new, key features as well as lean into a striking color trend story. I chose to focus solely on the product itself in a monochromatic environment to achieve a sleek and eye-catching aesthetic, and the features were added underneath the hero image to spotlight the product features. This approach allowed for a clean and concise view of the product and the messaging.
This promo performed very well across our consumer base, and this visual aesthetic, which was a new step for the brand, was adopted into a mainstay look for Rox Volleyball moving forward.
