As the Creative Director for Rox Volleyball, I developed and led many national campaigns, product trend development, e-commerce assets, and more. Our team was critical in pushing Rox Volleyball's marketing visual representation to greater markets, which led to increased engagement and brand recognition.
"Declare Your Destiny" Campaign - 2017-2018
The Declare Your Destiny campaign aimed to tell the story of the Rox Volleyball athletes, players, company, and community. The purpose was to embrace the conquered obstacles, victories celebrated, and all the awkward phases along the way when trying to achieve your goals. Those opportunities shape us and ultimately, declare our destiny.
AVP x Rox Volleyball
Rox Volleyball teamed up with the AVP to create a co-branded athleisure apparel line. These assets launched this campaign in 2018. I designed the apparel as well as the digital assets.
Advantage Backpack Promo
Email and social product feature and promotion showcasing Rox Volleyball's versatile and durable Advantage Backpack. This was the first time monochromatic color trends as well as multi-view photography was used in marketing assets.
Email and social campaign promoting Rox Volleyball's 2018 board short release. My team and I designed not only the digital assets but also the short designs themselves.
Stop-motion social graphic promoting Olympic medalists Phil Dalhausser & Nick Lucena's 2018 apparel. The assets and boardshorts were designed alongside the athletes.
"Be Revolutionary" Campaign - 2015-2016
The Be Revolutionary campaign centered around the upcoming Olympics as well as the manufacturing roots Rox Volleyball has an American company. The marketing strategy also coupled with Brooke Sweat, a Rox Volleyball athlete competing in the 2016 Olympics. The concept was to empower junior and adult athletes to "Be Revolutionary" in whatever they do, and what better way to portray that than recreating Emanuel Leutze's painting, "Washington Crossing the Delaware" set during the American Revolutionary War.
The design strategy was to build the artwork as a digital composite. To achieve this, we photographed each model individually and added each element separately. The finished work fused colonial elements with Rox Volleyball's edgy identity.
